    I have followed the instructions and I can get the relevant digits to flash but cannot adjust them.

    any ideas would be great

    It's usually straightforward - just pull on the left hand peg on the dash however many times needed to get each bit to flash (1st time digit, 2nd time digit, date etc) then let go once the correct bit is flashing and twist and hold the same peg to the left to make the digits go backwards and right to make them go forwards.
