    Hi all
Had a 09 Touran for 9 months. Get the feeling I might be having for much longer but would love to see what the thoughts are on here.
The light came on to signify my rear brake light was not working. I managed to take out the light unit and all bulbs were fine. Stuck it back in and light cleared.
Came back today and its back on. Checked all bulbs again and all ok. Disconnected wiring loom and then put back and restarted ignition.
One again light went but I have the feeling this may be a issue with the power supply unit.
If so how much is that part? and does anyone know if it would be covered under them extended warranties.
    Many thanks for any feedback
    Cheers
    James

Thanks for the reply. Looks pretty clean to me but guess I could check with a multimeter if it happens again. Would be nice to see if anyone else has had similar issues

Bulb warning systems are quite sensitive, they work on resistance so sometimes flag up a bulb before it blows.

    I wish I could tpye...

Just to let you know it was the bulb. Must have been exactly what you mentioned.

    Thanks
