Ambient lighting

I know that the MK7 comes with a new ambient lighting setup including door trim lighting, but can anyone tell me if the 2 small red LED lights usually mounted in the overhead lighting panel, designed to bathe the centre console and gear lever area with a nice red glow, is still there, or have VW removed this feature altogether ?

The ambient lighting in my GT is all white. It looks very nice at night, but I know it's a personal thing.

Thanks Dan, but be they Red or White, is there still LED overhead console lighting that shines down on the gear lever area from the overhead light console or not ?

Sadly, NO the LED overhead feature is not there anymore on the Mk7. But in saying that the internal ambient lighting is very good.
