I think this discussion about seat comfort makes it clear that anyone buying a new car must borrow a demonstrator for a couple of days to decide about the seat! My Mk 7 with leather and elec adjustment seems to me to be just as good as my Mk 5. (I'm 6 ft 1 in). However, when I tried a BMW 1 and 3 series late last year, the "normal" seats did not work for me, and I had to try the one with frontal movement to get comfy around the thighs..

As to the A3, that was just plain Ugly from the driver's seats. Staring at those 2 huge volcano cores they use for air vents would drive me mad, as would the stick-on-top satnav.
It takes all sorts.
