The phone pairs and connects by bluetooth but won't download the phonebook on the phone to the car. I copied the contacts to the sim and it downloads those but not the phonebook on the phone. HTC assume it's a compatibility issue and the A6 is the problem. I had no such problems with either a previous iPhone or a Samsung Galaxy S3.

Any ideas what the problem might be? Thanks.

What phone do you have? Someone might have the same model, but we won't know unless you tell us...

It seems to be an HTC issue with whatever they do to Bluetooth. I've had to use an app - Bluetooth Phonebook which now allows me to download the phonebook to the car.

I have a HTC Sensation XE and I did have a problem downloading the phone book. To get over the problem I changed a setting in the MMI after having read the instructions! If you haven't sorted it please email me and I'll try to emulate what I did.

Hee hee. I totally misread the topic! "Another Phone Connection Issue - HTC One" I took to mean was one (other) phone connection issue with some (unspecified) HTC phone. Now you know why I have a muppet as my avatar!

    Hi Guy's

New here, so first post for me, just got my A6 on Friday and having the same problem with my HTC one! I was looking at this app on Remote SIM Access for Android for rsap conection, there is some more info here rSAP for Android Forum • View topic - Information about HTC One (m7) but it looks a bit complicated to me! I'm always afraid of bricking my phone when it comes to mods!!!

I'll be gutted if this phone doesn't sync the phone book, as I spend a lot of time in the car.

If anyone tries it please let me know. Need to take a trip to the dealer to get my ACC looked at as its not working, so will see what they have to say. Hope to get there tomorrow.

    Cheers Dave

Hope you get it sorted, was looking at getting a One myself, perhaps not now. Looked at one of you links and it's about rooting for your phone, not something I would like to try with a new phone, but many would and do.

    Keep us posted
