    Hey guys

Recently got my hands a audi a6 avant with adaptive air suspension.. But all the gaps between the wheels and the arches are all random when parked up.. especially the front drivers side.. there doesnt seem to be any logic to it.. does it automatically self level? or is there any checks you know of with out going to the <WHERE>? or if its possible to lower the car using vag com?

ps also does anyone know where the reversing module is on a a6 57 plate avant? some say its in the right side of the boot but i can't seem to find it

    kind regards

There may be some sort of component that has failed within the suspension.

I would be getting a fault code scan done.

The pdc box is indeed on the right hand side behind the removable flap - that's where mine is in my Saloon.

    It's labelled parklihfe or similar.

    Hi

Wouldn't i get an error on the dash prompting me to an error?

I've looked where they say and i just cant see it.. i take it its just floating around? do you think there would be much difference between a saloon and the avant?

    Regards

I'm not sure but I'd still be getting it scanned just to make sure.

Its a small black box with I think 2 connectors

Look right up into the space, mine is definitely there as I accidentally broke the little bracket holding it on

Your MMI version will depend on which MMI is fitted.

Basic/+ with the red screen above the centre airvents

    Or

High with the colour screen above the centre airvents - current and last FW 5570.

No chance of the postcode being updated as 2G is now obsolete.

Sorry Chris but they will always been know as the <removed>And that's just my personal dealings with them. They can produce a faulty part. Then call it a goodwill gesture for them to fix it. That's if they feel you paid for it already by using there over priced services!

anyway back to my mmi. It the high version. And I guess all what I've said above applies to the mmi. It's only obsolete cos Audi can't be <removed>anymore. Old customers don't matter only the new ones!

Just don't use it on here and watch your language too as we're a family forum

It's obsolete because the system was coming up to 8 years old and needed replacement. If you ebay search "MMI firmware" you will find the update discs for <£20.
