I'm wondering if anyone can shed any light on this rather strange problem....

    2007 Jetta TDI (BXE)

Tyre pressures at 2.2 bar, everything OK.

Tyre pressures at 2.4 bar seems to cause a momentary loss of drive when cornering. It feels as though something is jamming up or disengaging for a split second. No strange noises, just a jolt/judder felt through the car. Happens on both LH and RH corners, and can happen on any corner from a slow town road to a sweeping motorway exit.

Has anyone any idea what this could be? The only other clue is that the steering wheel starts pulsing/wobbling at around 70mph. No problems found during recent service.

    Yes, wheels are balanced correctly.

I can see how wheels being out of balance could cause steering wheel wobble, but what is of more concern is these random losses of drive/stutters that keep happening. It's now doing when going over speed bumps, and randomly when just driving in a straight line. Any sort of undulations in the road seem to be affecting the forward motion of the car.

Perhaps it could be a driveshaft problem?
