Hi.i have just fitted a hdi conversion kit to my 2006 passat b6 2.0 tdi but once i turn hight beam on then off the main lights flicker like mad any help?

Do a search for HID kits on here.... But if they are from EBay then you pays your money and takes your chances....oh and unless you have the self levelling system for them and the washer jets they are illegal.....

Neilos100 ... many passats with hid kits pass MOT everyday in England. I agree with you that eBay hid kits are mixed bag of úber shait and slightly less shait but many people like them. Because they offer some style in 6000k color temperature and some people think they are brighter. Personally spoke to MOT tester about this issue and he told me: - As long as your lights aimed right, it's a pass. If you have washers installed they must work, and if you don't have them ... then nothing to check apart from cut off beam angles. Cars manufactured after 2012 must have auto levelling and washer system.
It's a minefield, VOSA gives out recommendations, but all depends on reinforcement ... these days you know the story. Hid kits in reflector based headlights are nightmare though, blinding all other users.
