Can anyone tell me whether I can enable the anti-hijack central locking feature on the Passat B6 model using VAG COM? If so, any info on procedure would be gratefully received too!

Any pointers to useful B6 VAG COM stuff would also be welcome.

    Thanks in advance,

    O

Go into adaptation 10 of the convenience system and it should be in one of the adaptation groups as auto lock in one group and unlock in the next.

Thanks for that. I was confused by the reference:

    http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/car...ns/passat.html

where module 35 central locks has an "N" against it for the B6 model.

I'm just waiting to get my hands on a cable later this week. Will get back to you.

    Cheers,

    O

Just to round this off. I borrowed a cable and made the adjustment following the guide found here:

    http://dpham00.info/gti/vagcom/vagco...0for%20mkv.pdf

There isn't a central locks control module (35), but that's not important as the adjustment is made in the central convenience module (46).

The guide above is for the Golf, but everything I played with applied to my Passat (turned off the window down operation via remote, enabled horn for lock/unlock (actually just a quiet "pip") and of course the aforementioned autolocking).

Using the "long coding helper" makes it all very easy - just select or deselect a tick box.

I hope that helps someone else in the future.
