    right lads just bought new car first vw anyway its a estate se 130 anyway engine replacement engine has 100 k on it drove by a old guy never boosted so im told seemed bit sluggish so asked and the said it was replaced with a 100pd block 130 injectors turbo and ecu went back on wat came of the car in first place. is this the same engine will it still be 130bhp? egr valve is making a farting noise? I have ordered a egr delete valve for that anyway. rempap cuming soon will the 100pd cope with been 180bhp brand new duelmass and clutch fitted for the 130pd sorry guys new to this decat also good option? just weld pipe or proppa decat pipe from ebay?

    Can't answer much of what you ask with the exception of the clutch issue..... from what I can tell the clutch should be fine up to the 170bhp mark..... ( this based on advice I have been given from a few sources).... may I respectfully suggest that you may get a better response if you drop the text speak, it makes it very difficult to understand your post....

    I don't know, but suggest you register at Vagcat, browse the online parts catalog, see if the engine parts for 130 AWX/AVF are the same as 100 (AVG code??). I suspect if there are differences, the 100 parts will tolerate 170hp? The one difference I remember reading is oil pump, not sure how it is different..
    Bear in mind VW give the AVF 25 extra nm torque, because they felt the stronger 6 speed box can take it. Yet thousands of 5 speed passat/A4's get remapped way above the AVF torque figure.

    even a 175 bhp remap will give blistering performance , so much so you'll not hold ground in the wet , even in 3rd gear . you'll not need to decat it . the torque curve after a remap is just crazy .....

    A realistic remap maximum for a pd130 is about 150-160 bhp. EGR delete will put the dash fault light on so you'll need that mapped out. What the remap is like, is down to who does it. They are not all the same.

    PD100 block is weaker than PD130 block and will bend rods with boost spikes which are likely to happen on a high Bhp remap. The injector nozzles are also flowing more on the pd 130 and i don't know how they get it working on the pd100 ECU as it should run as a bag of spanners- the injection maps need calibrating if the nozzles overfuel/underfuel. I would say 175 is far fetched on the pd with just a remap and the clutch often slips with the torque that comes with it. As Martin mentioned above, a pd100 maps to 135-140 Bhp max and a pd 130 will map to 160-165 Bhp reliably ! I would not get yours over 140 if that's a pd100 bottom end but i know folk with older AFN engines which replace their rods with AVB items just to break 180-200 Bhp but the torque on VE engines is much more gradual...
