2.0T FSI recon engine.

Please can somebody point me in the right direction to locate a fitted recon engine for my 06 A4 2.0TFSI Quattro. I'm struggling to find and would appreciate any recommendations or help.

Oil pressure light came on and after investigation the oil pump had failed and seized the camshaft, Audi quoted £9000 !!
Struggling to find anyone with a recon engine, lots of email requests sent but no reply.

That's terrible mate, have heard a few reports of this happening lately.

Not too many cases seem to be the 2.0T engine though. Mine is the same as yours but FWD.

I can't help you with the recon engine, but I do wish you the best of luck in getting it all sorted. I'll be watching the thread - please update as you progress.
