Try posting in the A6 section. Which variety of A6 is yours? C5 or C6? Also, what sort of engine is it?

You could try this thread as a starter (I'm guessing it's a 2.5 tdi C5)

Here's the search results for compressor pulley in the C5 forum

I assume you mean the tensioner for you aircon auxiliary belt has disintegrated? If you do indeed mean the pulley on the aircon compressor, see my following thread:
Give your Air Con Compressor a New Lease of Life

In either event, the lock carrier (ie radiator assembly) has to be put into the service position. To do this the front bumper has to be removed. Two service pins (or suitable length bolts) have to be inserted (lock carrier rests on these when pulled forward). The viscous fan has to be removed using 2 thin, long 32mm open ended spanners + 1mtr length pipe over one of the spanners to make a mega-breaker bar (the viscous fan is on tight - believe me!). Straight forward after this - remove aux belt cover, release tensioner and remove belt. BE AWARE - on refitting aux belt for aircon, the tensioner is set to only 7nm Yes, VERY slack. Over tensioning will cause damage to belt, tensioner and pulleys.
If you wish to do this job, pm me with your e-mail address and I will send theinstructons.

Having just watched the video, a couple of points:
    1) No need to remove horn electrical connectors
    2) On an Allroad, there are 2 additional small torx screws on either side holding the bumper onto to the guide on each side. They are beside 2 larger torx screws which hold the wheel trim onto the guide. These screws are small and probably quite corroded. Fortunately they are not on tight and a pair of grips will get the off if the torx socket doesn't.
    3) Much easier first to jack up each side, remove wheel, remove front 9 studs of each wheel arch cover. On each side, remove the 3 main fasters along with the 2 above, disconnect fog connector. Release quick release faster for head light washer - you risk cracking the T piece if you leave this on (guess who cracked his!!). Wheel back on and repeat for other side.
    4) Get someone to help you (easily) remove bumper about 6 inches away and then disconnect (if you have them) the connector for the parking sensors.

Finally, if you are going to remove the arcon aux belt, read the chapter on Replacing Bushes on Power Steering bracket for details on how to remove the bracket that sits i front of this belt - the chapter gives the torque spec for re-installing.
