    Hi, Ive sent you an email.
    I've looked at the link for removal of the sensor, but does anyone know where the sensor I cant seem to find it for looking

    Thanks for that, but i still cant see the sensor, i know im a n00b. does anybody have a picture of the sensor/where it lives?

    Legend.
    From that diagram it looks like its close to the two little valves on close to the passegener's side? Looks nothing like the part that ive ordered though

    There was a typo I typed 4B0 907 G59 A when it should be 4B0 907 659 A

    Here is an ebay link to show what they look like... Link:- 4B0907659A | eBay

    I would buy new only...
    AFAIK my car has one so will check for you ...

    Note that although there is a fault recorded for the air quality sensor it won't be related to the symptoms you have of one vent always blowing hot. It's only for automatic operation of recirculation mode. As such you may not want to bother with it or it could be a dodgy connection.

    Usually the hot vent is an issue with a blend motor (although you have no fault code) or flap.

    I've bought the sensor now
    suppose I'll change it anyway, you know of anyway to test the flap ect? thanks

    have a look with vcds in address 08, there should be some measured value blocks to read/compare requested and actual values etc and also basic settings for calibration.
