Coffee

I do like the idea that I'm grinding my own coffee beans while making the coffee, it's kind of back to basics stuff. Apart from the roasting process, it's coffee from scratch. As I work from home a lot, it's nice to make a pot of coffe & have it kept warm on the machine for a couple of hours.

Trouble is, I need a bean to cup machine that also does espressos & lattes/cappuccinos too, but then you're into big money. I don't like the idea of using pre-ground coffee, or just putting a pouch in a machine, takes the pleasure out of it for me. I'm a little funny/ocd like that.

Here it is! Pics are about a year old now so have upgraded the grinder since. Makes a lovely cuppa

That's it! That's mine & I tell you what, it's a little gem. You can even programme it to come on at a certain time so you get awoken by the sound & smell of freshly ground & brewed coffee.

Until I win the lotto & can afford my own jura machine, it'll do me.

TBH I only heard about it when they were sold out. You don't always need to spend huge money to get good quality, I quite like Skodas

I think they get them in periodically for special offers. This is the second one I've had after breaking the pot on the first one while washing it heavy handedly. I had to wait a good year before they had a new batch in for special offer.

I thought at coupe of hundred quid my Gaggia Classic was a pretty handy piece of kit but that machine is the nuts......

I had a Gaggia Classic before my new purchase, they're a good bit of kit. Can get some really good shots from them if you spend a bit of time setting up.
