I'm looking for a used ECU and I came across two right here in my neightburhood. One 4B2907401D and one 4B2907401J.
The problem is, the ECU in my car is 4B2907401E and I don't know if any of them others are compatible ?
Since I don't have ETKA I would really appreciate if someone with ETKA could check that up ( am not thinking about immo problems, more like ESP and the right MAF)

I'm not an ETKA expert but:

    4B2097401D is for engine AYM
4B2907401J is for engine AKE <- so looks like it will work

    Choices listed for AKE are:
    4B2 907 401J
    4B2 907 401F
    4B2 997 401EX

    all now replaced by 4B2 997 401FX

I can't find 4B2097401E in ETKA at all! Do you mean 4B2907401E? This is down as replaced by 4B2 997 401 DX on 1/10/2002 but I cannot find it listed against AKE. What year is your car?

Have just spent some time at ebay de and uk, and unlike as for the injector- and pump nr's for theese engines ( where everything make perfect sence) this looks like a complete anarchy!
By checking the info. about the donor cars, I've found ECU's with ending letters B, D, E and J, all for the AKE engine !
Also noticed that all ECU's for AKE have a 2 first (after the letter B) ECU,s for other engine codes could have the same nr, exept for the first digit, beeing a 1 or 0 ( 4B 1 )
This must mean something ! Would really like to know some more about this, can someone shed some light ??

4B2907401E is listed for a 1998-2001 car. Engine AKE, automatic, EDC. The 2002> ECUs I listed above seem more generic, but I don't know if you can replace your one with them.
