Extended Warranty

Hi All,
Bought my A4 back in 2011. Its still under warranty for another year, but I'm considering extending it after that. Has anyone here extended their warranty, and more importantly, is it worthwhile? I've not as
of yet been able to get a quote for it.

I have and have done for the past 2 years and have took out a new 2 year policy.

It's Audi, it includes everything that the factory one did and there is no excess, no claim limit and no fee for diagnostics.

Paid for itself every year so far including numerous glowplugs, intake manifold runners and various suspension parts.

Also have it on my A3 and it will have paid for itself in about £100 time.

I was looking at this a few weeks ago and decided not to bother in the end. They wanted nearly £900 for 1 years cover. That money is now in a bank account as an emergency fund instead.

My renewal notice came in just over £500 per year for an annual 15k Mileage, Capped Named cover without Roadside Assistance and GBP0 excess. The service has actually been great but that amount is too much due to other financial priorities for me..... Just hope the car doesn't rack up costs as per the running costs above making me regret not taking it!!
