Is there anyway to browse folders/files on an SD card/CD/USB using the steering wheel controls?

On my mk6 I used to be able to quickly skip folders and browse (without actually choosing the folder) before pressing play.

it seems dangerous that browsing has to be done on the screen and not via the steering wheel controls.

I agree that it could be dangerous and I haven't found a way to browse via the steering controls yet. A feature that I was expecting to find and disappointed if it isn't possible.

Not found it yet, if it exists. I suspect it doesn't exist.

These things are worse and worse, just badly slapped together.
Now : mk7 R, 5dr, DSG, Limestone Grey, 19" Pretoria's, DCC, Discovery Navigation Pro, Winter Pack, Reversing Camera, Advanced Telephone Prep.
Gone but not forgotten : Mk6 GTD, 5dr, Manual, Tornado Red, 18" Vancouvers, RCD510 + Dynaudio + DAB, Cruise, Winter Pack, Luxury Pack and Tyre Pressure Sensors. Vagcom'd up (now bluetoothed and Rear LED's).

I suspect it is software, so perhaps we should all ask at our dealers for this to be included in a software upgrade as it is obviously a safety matter.
