Aftermarket Bluetooth

Hi All

picked up my new 2003 4.2 D3 A8 yesterday.... Top spec with more extras than I've ever seen, however it doesn't have bluetooth.

My last car (2005 A8 3.0TDI) also didn't have it and I fitted a Kufatec Fiscon aftermarket bluetooth and it was good. Integrated with the MMI and dash screen

This kit seems to have increased in price somewhat to over £400. There are a couple of alternatives though and I wondered if anyone has ever tried them.

The ViseeO kit is under £300 and seems to offer the same features. Audio streaming included.

Also if anybody has tried any others I'd be interested in opinions.

I can't recall who it was now, but I did have a discussion about viseeo with someone on here who had fitted it & was impressed. My point being that a search for viseeo mosto should give you your answer, sorry I can't give you more precise details though. Alternatively, I bought a genuine Audi bt module from ebay for £230 and got A8Tech to fit it for me for a good price & it works perfectly (as though fitted from factory). Obviously you won't get music streaming that way though.

I've one my searching but can generally only find one opinion. I guess I'm just trying to find where the extra £100 goes, but the Viseeo seems to get good reviews.

I have just started to look into this also; I have so far been quoted £350+vat by Richter Sport to add integrated BT to my 2003 4.2 but have not checked with anyone else yet. Would be great to hear if anyone N.London / Hertfordshire way has had this retrofitted for a better price, and with who?

Haven't managed to get this done yet. I have been quoted £399 inc VAT fully installed for the Fiscon or £339 supply only. The quote was from Mobile Solutions UK and they fit nationwide.
