Hi all. The last few days I have noticed little particles of grey "plastic sponge" being blown out of the centre vent below the windscreen. Looks like it maybe coming from the heater blower fan - insulation or filter dislodged and getting sheared in the fan??? Anyone come accross this before? Not sure I wish to stripdown the dash or console to get at it as it does not seem a big problem and I guess the exit of debris will event eventually stop. Blower fan is not noisey and does not sound as if it is hitting anything - however the debris is very fine.

It is flap covering, it starts to break up-a complete strip down to deal with or dash out for a new heater box at £854......
