    Hi there,
I am currently looking at a 2010 white s-line with out sat nav
and was wondering is it possible to fit sat nav in to after i buy it.
I see that you can buy all the bits id need on ebay but will this work if parts are
just installed are is there more involved.

Anything is possible! It all depends on how much you want to spend. questions come up all the time about retro fitting items, like AMI, parking sensors, folding mirrors etc.

My experience from reading up on posts here and elsewhere is that the cost is usually more than the factory fit cost for retro fitting items. I can't answer your question re sat nav, but I would guess you could buy a fair few tomtom's for the price it will cost you!

Price will be £1000 at least, remember you will need component protection removed and someone to fit and code it so it soon adds up.

If I bought the likes of this kit on eBay what else has to be done after this kit is installed. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1363684925.818267.jpg

Is there a wiring harness that I'm missing. Is there cables to be ran some where?

I put a RNs-e in to my last b7 myself so just wondering is there much more involved with this retrofit?

As you can see you will need to change the centre screen, centre console and other bits.

Remember you will need to run the fibre optic cables to the rear of the car along with the GPS antenna.

Yes it is more involved than a simple RNSE retrofit.

I must be one of the few people that like the standard sat nav. When I was looking I waited until I found the right car with sat nav. For the costs of retrofitting though, I would stick with a tomtom!
