According to the handbook you should be able to actuate the passenger door mirror down function from the Convenience/Mirror menu. This enables the nearside mirror to dip downwards when reverse is selected so the kerb become more visible.
This option doesn't exist in the menus on my Passat Estate. The strange thing is that the option is available on my wife's Mk.6 Golf.
    Two questions:
Has anyone got this option on their Passat?
Can this option be set up in VCS?

    Thanks for any comments.

Hi, would be interested in this myself. I know you can activate it in Audi's through the VCS not sure its the same in VW's. Not that it makes a difference as I don't know anyone who could do it !
