    Hiya,

Was wondering if anyone can help me with the problem I have with my polo.

The drivers side door seems to be problematic.

Firstly the window doesn't drop on the switch, neither does passenger side when using drivers side switch. The passenger side switch does work though.

Secondly, to unlock the car, I have to use the passenger side barrel to unlock/lock the car, any ideas on this?

Would it be a fuse or something?

For info the electric mirrors work?!

Ive read of many problems about pumps going?

Im going to take the door card off tomorrow and have a closer look.

    Thanks

If the central locking system works, fully, from the passenger door then it's not the pump. If the pump failed, the central locking wouldn't work whichever door you unlocked. It sounds electrical to me, have you checked the connectors and wiring in the black rubber 'hosepipe' thing between the door and the car?
