I recently purchased an Audi Approved 61 plate Audi A6. As I understand it Audi Approved cars come with 12 months free Audi Roadside Assistance.
whereas a brand new Audi comes with 3 years Audi Roadside Assistance included in the warranty period.

Does anyone know if my car would have the Audi Roadside Assistance valid until it was 3 years old or will it only be valid for 12 months as it was bought second hand?

I'm trying to see whether I need to renew my current breakdown cover when it expires in a months time.

Check with your dealer / paperwork.

Did you extend the warranty beyond the 3 years?

How my dealer explained it was that you get the remainder of the warranty (thus breakdown) through Audi, When you go onto the Audi used warranty the breakdown company changes to green flag.

I'm waiting for a response from the dealer, but they seem very slow to get back to me now I've bought the car!

I didn't purchase any extra warranty as I was told the car has the remainder of the manufacturers 3 year warranty, which in this case is until October 2014.

For cars under 3 years old you will have the roadside and original warranty till the 3rd birthday of the ca or 60k whichever comes first.

My C6 was 1 year old when I bought it and everything remained in place until the 3rd birthday.

You'll then have the opportunity to extend the warranty come 3 years old.
