Open to suggestions for some good car shampoo and tyre shine.

Currently using Turtle Wax Zip Wax which has come to an end and may aswell get some tyre shine while I'm at it.

    All suggestions welcome

    Hey Chris.
Shampoo ? I would go with Meguires Gold
Tyre shine ? I use Meguires Hot Shine applied with a kitchen sponge, the type that is a sponge on one side and a scourer on the other. Using the sponge makes it easier to control the amount you use and prevents runs.

I'm currently using Dodo Juice Born to be Mild shampoo, And wilkinsons spray on tyre shine with a proper tyre sponge applicator.

I'll look at B2BM again next time for sure

Thanks for the suggestions guys - will have a browse tonight and see what I can find.

Marko - I just pour enough in to cover the bottom of my bucket, probably about 3 or 4 capfuls worth.

I use the stated doseage, too strong and it could strip the LSP. And foamy does not make a good shampoo - lubricity is more important.

I still like AGs Bodywork Shampoo, so 4 capfuls in a 20 litre bucket - works a treat after a pre-wash.

Alot of good shampoo's don't touch LSP.

You can get some which "top up" LSP, But I tend to find these leave windows slightly smeary.

I use Meguires Gold and it only takes a capful. It has lasted ages and appears to work well but I haven't used many shampoos!
