    hi all,
i have seen differnt articles, but I'm still not convinced there is a definate answer.
will the ebay or otherwise 4B0 601 165a fit my 17" wheels?
part code on mine is 4B0 601 165 N but i like the look of the "a" ones on ebay. differnt onse state differnt "approximate" inner ring sizes.
has anyone actually put them on and is the letter prefix definately style based only?

    cheers all!

Jason - I can supply you with a brand new set of 4B0 601 165a hub caps - to you a tenner and free P&P! Only snag is they do not fit our 17" Allroad wheels. Yes, been there - done it - have the teeshirt!

If you look up the parts manual, you will see they only fit 16" wheels. Got my set from USA FOR 1$ plus £13 p&p. BUMMER!
Wthout asking you, I assume your current 17" hub caps are all tarnished round the outside - YES? If so, you can open the tabs at the back and prise off the tarnished and ugly (in my opinion) aluminium rim of the hubcap. If the chrome audi logo is likewise tarnished you can also remove and re-paint (I used black enamel paint) and re-fit. They now look better than the originals. In fact, in the summer I am going to repaint my alloys ANTHRACITE which I think will be a good match with the hub caps.

WHILE, I AM HERE - DOES ANONE WSH TO BUY NEW SET OF HUB CAPS FOR 16" AUDI ALLOYS?
