    Nope, none.

I'm trying to redress the balance, since several contributors have observed that people don't post if nothing's gone wrong.

The air suspension works as it should; the compressor compresses like a champ; there are no oil leaks and the thermostat is functioning just as Mr Audi intended.

There hasn't been even a hint of a knock for yonks from any of the vast collection of suspension components. No cold weather clutch judder, and the DMF is as quiet as a mouse.

The carpets are dryer than a duck's chuff; all the doors open and close as they should and when required to do so, no matter how parky it is outside.

There isn't a single leaf in the plenum vents, and the tyres are wearing evenly.

The window regulators regulate the windows with barely a whisper.

The plant starts instantly without any smoke, and pulls like gangbusters. At sixty-six thousand miles it's just nicely run in, and the overall average mpg (which has never dipped below 32.8) is now sitting smugly on 34.6.

It's still on all its original light bulbs with the exception of the dips - those were changed for Nightbreakers. Not because of failure, but because they were pants.

And they still are, though I keep them in the Nightbreaker box in the glove compartment as spares.

Heck, I'm still on the original keyfob battery after nearly nine years.

    Good, innit?

Having heaped paeans of praise on my motor car (and having re-read what I wrote), I realised that it is slightly misleading, though not wilfully disingenuous.

Things have gone wrong - and quite a few of them. It is an allroad, after all.

It's just that nothing's gone wrong lately, and I do think that getting to nine years on all the original bulbs and remote battery is pretty good going

Never mind all that, Alfie. Are you still on the bulbs that were put in at the factory?

And besides, I bet you've been opening the doors with the keys for the past five years just to eke out the batteries. That disnae count

What a shame Audi didn't get the bulb and battery manufacturers to make the rest of the car!
