a6 2.0 tdie 2009 auto fuel consumption

My A6 2.0 tdie auto 2009 have this consumption figs:
City: 25 mpg
Motorway: 45. Mpg
Combined: 35 mpg
I justbought thecar and i will like to know if this is the real consumption or there are some problems with my car.
In the book the figs are totaly different. Thx.

I have the same car but in avant flavour and manual.
My averages are way more than that. On a decent run of motorway and extra urban I'll get around 48-53 mpg. Urban is around 35 and combined about 41-42.
If you have a heavy right foot you'll see your averages really drop but auto will be much lower than a manual anyway.

Just had a thought. If you have an automatic you do not have the tdie version because afaik it was only ever a manual. You sure you haven't got a 2.7..sounds daft I know but that's the sort of economy they return.

Going by the OPs username which is obviously his registration number (bad idea!!!) it is indeed a E.

Was just that in the 2009 brochure the only e model is the manual. Ah well.....
