Help me!!

Hi I am really struggling with my new a4 s line!!
its a 2009 s line with 6 disc changer in the dash and iPod connectivity !!
I plug my iPod or iPhone in and all it does is charge it and says no devices connected !!
Please help me I have googled it and there is about 20 different answers!! Thanks

ok, so where are you connecting it to?

Do you have the correct AMI port in the glovebox? Or are you connecting it by the single jack socket under the armrest?

ive tried both neither seem to work!
when I plug into the iPod ami lead it only charges and if I plug into the jack nothing happens at all!!! Is there some kind of factory reset I can try or software update??
starting to annoy me listening to the wife's music now!!!

Hmmm, don't know then!

I have heard that the AMI lead must be genuine Audi one of it won't work. The jack connector is only a line out so you still need to control the ipod manually................ have you tried that?

Personally, I don't use an ipod. Too clunky. I put a 4gb SD card in the slot which holds over 1000 tracks............... works perfect!
