which MMI, and upgrading firmware

Hi Folks,

Im not sure which MMI i have, its a concert stereo with no nav. SW says 0210 and HW says H02. can anyone tell from that info which MMI i have? its a 58 plate 2009 model year A4 3.0 quatro sline.

second question, i hear my MMI software may e able to be ugraded to 0310 or somethign like that, which apparently will allow me to play SDHC cards whcih would be awesome, as finding it a bit of a pain swapping out my 4GB cards just now... if this is dooable. where might one find these ugrade discs?

You don't have MMI.

For SDHC support you need to change the whole headunit to a later model.

is it AMI then? im sure i read somewhere that some people had upgraded the firmware and it allowed them to play sdhc's

No it's just Concert.

Ami is an addition for iPod support.

There may well be an update, have a search on here and see. Although its not something that I've read

I thought reading SDHC was a hardware change, not a software change like it is on an RNSE.

ye maybe i missunderstood the discussion in this thread. so basically id need to get a new concert stereo? wont be cheap i take it?

Possible on the nav systems but not the radio systems which you have.

Nope it won't be cheap, look on eBay etc for I'd say at least a 2011+ unit.
