Hi I have a couple of questions amd problems I have a 2.tdi sport quattro auto and the EML came on recently 00560. I have had had the EGR Valve replaced 4 months ago and one of the Solenoid Valves recently. Couple of questions what could the fault code mean, would the egr valve need cleaning or be faulty. How easy is it to take off the valve. The garage said it was now a problem with the turbo. I have noticed that when driving from stationary I hear a "whistling" noise coming from the engine bay, only durig low revs. The two things are driving me crazy as I am trying to sell the car and ensure all is OK before I sell it. Car runs OK with no rought running. Any help would be appreciated. Anyone know of any garages who know audi pretty well in the Bolton area. Thanks

That's not really a fault code as such. What are you reading codes with. Does that code come back once you clear it?

A whistling noise is usually the turbo. People say that once the turbo is whistling its on its way out...however i'd take that with a pinch of salt, the turbo on my 2.0tdi 140bhp whistles but so does the turbo on my friends mondeo and my neighbours renault megane. I wouldn't read into it too much if its not giving any problems.

Also does the EML stay on or does it just flash?
