What's it worth/

4 months ago I bought a 1999 B5 1.8 avant silver. It's got walnut pack, alloys, roof rails and in 6 cd changer in the boot. It's only done 43.000 miles.. all but last service in the Audi Main Dealer.It had one owner ( a daughter's dad who never let the kids in his car) before me It's immaculate inside and has a few supermarket door / car park dings outside but looks good

I miss the wallowing ride and big car size and feel of my old 100 avant and my wife refuses to give up the 2.5 a6 for it. I fear it will have to go and be replaced by an old allroad or a6.

Can anyone suggest what I could expect in a private sale? What should I put it in at? What could I expect from a non franchise dealer in exchange for an old avant a6 2.5 or 2000 year allroad?

Sorry to say.. i would go for £3200 priviate max.. or £1800 max as a trade..

The problem you have is the age rather than the quality.. If i was you, i would keep the motor and run it into the ground as its worth more as a good quailty car rather than a money value..

Thats my thought..
