Hello, I have found a set of audi et43 alloys from and rs4. Would these fit on my a6 3.0 Le Mans (07)?

Not sure if "ET" is the offset or something.

    Any help greatly appreciated!

    Thanks

Yep.....should fit fine. ET is the offset or how far the wheel sticks out from the hub. How old is the RS4 they are coming off.....might need a spigot ring to bring the hub diameter down.

    Hi there,
you already have good advice from Neilos, but to confirm....

I added a set of these to my A6 and they fitted fine. Yes the ET is the offset just so you know.

Mine actually sit out a little further and really does wonders for the stance. the bore was 67.1mm as they were from possibly a Q7 or A5 so I was told by Audi
The Hub on those are bigger than ours at 57.1mm iirc
I did have to buy a set of spigot rings, only around £10 or so and they fit like a glove, had them on around 2 years now no issues and just great looking wheels

Thank you both for your help! Understand now. Not sure the year Nelios all I know is they are et43.

Jim, what size of tyres do you run on yours? I know the standard on the a6 lemans is 255 but with the extra 5mm for the offset do they come out past the arches?

    Thanks

You'll need 255/35/19 to coincide with the rolling radius of the original tyre.

Any change in this size will result in an incorrect speedo reading.

Will definitely be putting on 35s and 19inch wheels. Was just wondering if I put on an offset of et43 instead of et48 will I need a tyre with less width so they don't come out over the arches. Can't really gauge if will 5mm of offset make a huge difference or if id be ok still sticking with 255's. Just not wanting them to be out over the arches as the 20inch alloys someone has stuck on my a6 looks like they will rub if I sit in the back. Just really trying to get some more clearance to take away my nervousness of going over a pothole and the wheels rub (plus the 20inch ones look rubbish!)

    Thanks

    I have 255 35 19's on mine and they're perfect

Perfect, thanks Jim. Was just nervous 5mm would make them stick out too much. Think I will buy them tonight. Just a thought from earlier when you said you bought a set, are yours an offset of 43?

    Thanks

    Quicky on this subject.

When people fit wheels that fill out the wheel wells, how do they get over the speedo problem ?

I'm assuming they don't unless they fit the correct rolling radius tyre when upgrading.
