    Hello guys,

I am currently driving a Audi B7 A4 2.0TDI 140, which seems to have an annoying problem and it would be great if someone brighter than me could help me. Basically, when I rev the car up to 2,000rpm the accelerator/car starts juddering. Some days it doesn't judder at all, but on most days I can easily replicate the issue in the first, second and third.

Now I have had a local mechanic look at it, and he replaced the fuel filter as a first port of call and it didn't resolve the issue (as he thought it might be a dodgy fuel filter). He suggested that it might the injector wiring loom that runs through the oil tank??? I don't know much about cars, so does this sound like it might be the issue? I have seen other people have lots of trouble with the Audi A4 injectors but mainly on the 170bhp models not on the 140bhp models.

What would people recommend me to do next? Would the best thing to replace the injector wiring loom? Does anyone know how much this might cost?

Many thanks in advance for any help anyone can give .

A Electrical fault on the injectors would usually, not always log a fault and bring on the MIL, have you had a VAG Comm connected? it could also be linked to the Nox sensor giving out faulty readings or a sticking injector maybe?. Have you checked the MAF sensor? Does it smoke?

The mechanic I think connected up a VAG Comm (you will have to excuse me, I don't really know much about cars!!), but it came up with no errors. It used to give off black smoke quite badly, but since I have been using a fuel additive it has been clean as a whistle. Do you think it might be worth me sending it to the Audi garage for a quick diagnostics check?
