  1. Slow screen pop-up (randomly) after vehicle start

Anyone ever experienced this? Sometimes it's not a problem, however sometimes it happens when you're reliant on the sensor display for unparking - so ultimately, it's a problem.

Can't replicate it, but it does randomly happen.

Related/perhaps unrelated, sometimes (again randomly) the media player forgets to try and reconnect with the SD Card and just sits there doing nothing, press source again and re-select SD Card and it's back in business.

Mines does this as well, sometimes it's really slow to pop up if in the down position or really slow to change from say sat nav or media screen to reversing sensors then slow to change back to orginial screen.

Also noticed this morning that it was really slow loading the sat nav details.

Might get them to have a look when its in for a service but I am not going to bother otherwise. Just glad my sensors are all now working and not constantly bleeping because of ice on the sensors everytime I put the car in reverse.

So what do people think, software? Presumably not if it's only when it's cold, unless it's written badly into the software, which actually wouldn't surprise me.

Scratch that, happened again today after the car had already been up and awake for a good long run this morning (so it was warm) - managed a 60 second or more reverse before the screen made an appearance.

That's not right, I suggest every time you get in the car you have your phone handy and take a video of it to show the dealer - otherwise they won't believe you!!!!

You can post it on here for a laugh too!

I think mine has done this once in nine months of ownership. Today it just randomly stopped playing a track on the jukebox for five seconds then resumed from where it left off. I just put it down to issues in the software. Videoing your screen not responding is a good idea, but difficult to do I would imagine - you would need to be prepared with your phone at the start of every journey.

    Good luck!!

Yes, fourth journey in now and naturally it's not done it yet.

No problems all day in the loan A6 I have out and at 1071 miles, I wouldn't dare think it would have a problem this early on!

Different screen I think Chris, but I have had a number of problems out of the factory with mine as highlighted in other threads.
