A4 2.5 TDi (2004) - air con blowing cold on one side, hot on the other.

Hi all, just wondering if this is an issue I can resolve myself.

A4 2.5 TDI 2004. The air conditioning, when set to cool, is blowing cold air at the driver side but still blows warm/hot air at the passenger side. Why might that be happening? And is it something I have a go at fixing?

The flap motors get jammed.
You can get to the motors by dropping the glovebox or the lower dash trim on the drivers side
The motors can be removed and split open to grease the worm drive.
Have a search on here for a 'how to".

Thanks very much for that, Kite - I've found a "how to" for removing the glovebox but nothing about the flap motors.
