    Default Wipers not working – 27-01-2013,12:02 AM
    Hello guys My mk5 golf 2.0 GT FSI 2004. The wipers were intermitent working then not - last week, then friday got in the car to go home from work and the wipers refused to work full stop, got a new wiper switch from VW and fitted the item and still no wipers. Anyone have any ideas the only thing i can think of is maybe the relay but cannot find out where it is.

    Check the bonnet closed switch. IIRC the wipers won't work with the bonnet open. Then again, I may be talking out of my hat.

    It was in fact a duff wiper motor, cheers Chris.
