    Hi

Apart from rumour and guesswork does anyone know when we can expect to see the GTD released in the UK?

I am currently looking at the GT for a co car but if the GTD is coming fairly soon i might try and hang out my decision until i get a release date and then speak to our fleet dept to confirm it it will be available, hopefully it will be as the MK6 was.

A few spy shots leaked out recently showing it during Winter testingLaunch is expected this Summer. Expect it to share the bodykit with the GTI, equipment levels will be similar to the GT with one or two extras included like Dual Zone Climate and LED taillights. It will use the new 184PS 2.0 TDI as found in the latest Leon FR and due soon in the Audi A3. CO2 emissions will be around 112g/ km giving a combined MPG figure in the mid 60s. I'm quite excited by it, has the potential to be the best Golf ever IMO!
