    Hi all.

I am thinking of upgrading to 18" wheels. Can someone let me know what ET I can get away with and what would be the best size to go with.

At the moment I am on 7.5j x 17h2 ET45. The rest of the numbers on the wheel are 4F0 601 025R.

    Its an 04 A6 C6 quattro

    Thanks for all help.

    Dave

Et between 35 -45. Then maybe up to 9.5j wide. All dependant on tyre choice too if your going wide. I run et35 9.5j wide on mine with a low profile with a little stretch. I would say a 8j with et 35 would sit perfect

So....even if my current 18" rim says ET43, a rim with ET35 shouldn't give any problems?

    Cheers

I'm looking at 9.5x19 et 45. Gives exactly the same clearance on the inside edge and 6mm wider on the outside as an oem s6.

    2007 3.0 tdi le mans : Hybrid turbo decat : miltek etc : 330-350 bhp : 450-500lbsft

Visibility pack. Adaptive xenon, Privacy glass. Bose surround. Dvd nav. Comms pack, led plate lights.
Miltek, custom map, hybrid turbo, decat improved airflow to intercoolers.
