    Sometimes I notice my screen whizzes out like it's on 10x the normal voltage! Normally I get the standard-pitched motor-whirr and the screen glides serenely up, but just occasionally it shoots out with a much higher-pitched whirr, like it's saying "I'm here! I'm here". I can't detect any rhyme or reason to it. Perhaps it's the world keeping things in balance? When someone else's screen refuses to make an appearance for ages, mine appears in double-quick time?

    Happened again. Missed it. Car full of people. Didn't want to look stupid(er). With my fragmented sentences.
