Being a pansy about looks

Evening all,

I was wanting to change my front end to a more sportier look as I only have the SE or whatever the hell I have, I sure as hell know it's not an S-Line.

Where would I start looking for parts? eBay is filled of scrappies with broken and what look to be irreparable sets of bumpers. Ideally I want to change both front and back end without buying all new bumpers from audi, or even better, just make it look sportier.

I have some LED Rear lights coming from a friend along with some facelift DRL Xenon headlights too. Just need to bring the rest up to scratch...

are you wanting to fit the facelift panels or the prefacelift s-line panels?

remember to keep your xenons legal you will need self levellers for the suspension and a bumper with built in washer jets along with a different washer bottle for the feed to the washer jets

you will need more panels if youre doing the facelift ones

tbh just fit the s-line prefacelift front and rear bumpers - easy to do as you wont need new wings etc if you were fitting the facelift panels.

Sorry thats what I meant, just the sline of my current model, not the face lift ones!

I've already got the washer bottle and self levellers in my unit waiting to go on, I'm going to do it all at once though... if I can get the bumpers.

Just had a look on eBay and found a rear bumper

2005-2008 Audi A6 Avant S Line Rear Bumper | eBay

Front bumpers are hard to find in good condition but this one seems to be the best of the bunch AUDI A6 C6 S LINE FRONT BUMPER *GENUINE AUDI PART* GREY [4A] | eBay

£4.95 delivery is very good for that.

Needs a little work but you're gonna be painting it anyway!

You could get them from Germany but I would imagine the postage costs would be mega.

What's the difference with the S Line rear bumper over SE? They look the same to me apart from painted diffuser.

If you want a sportier look up front you might consider the front grill also. maybe something like this

I think the chrome grills look better. If I was to change mine I would get an S6 or RS6,but i assume they won't fit an SE or S Line bumper?
