Hi, I'm really hoping somebody can help me / give some good advice. I'm not very mechanical minded in anyway, so please explain in laymen terms.

My A3 currently has 140,000 on the clock. It was previously a company lease car, I bought it with 100k on the clock.

I had a turbo replaced at 120k, then had the new injectors done via Audi recall at around 125k. I've had numerous problems with the DPF so I drive it hard around 3,000 revs to get it warmed up and eventually sorts it. It STILL has the same DPF fitted as when manufactured.

The turbo blew again! I sent the turbo to AET Turbos (they seem to have good reviews) and they mention it was down to carbon build up, the exact words was "defiantly an engine problem" and advised to check the sump for oil quality.

Has anybody had any similar problems? Could the DPF be the root of the problem?

Many thanks
