CD Autochanger in Polo

I have a dash mounted 6 CD autochanger from a 2 year old Passat spare and wondered if anyone knew if it would fit , connections available , in my sons 2004 1.2 Polo ?

I know it will physically fit but before I take his CD player out is there the power connection required. I think the gamma radio he has is the same as the Passat and will have the sockets for the autochanger.

Any advice appreciated

It should work fine. Only possible problem might be lack of illumination, but that won't stop it functioning.

Thanks for the quick response. I was concerned that, what I assume is the seperate power lead connection, on the back of the autochanger was not "pre" installed in the Polo. I notice that the autochanger is an option so I guess the looms are all the same.

Only one way to confirm of course........

Put it in this morning......

Plugged it in and it works perfectly. All lights up as well and looks good in the dash . My son is well pleased
