    Hi, had a look on the drivers side as this flap is not opening when heating. But there not there, they must be all under the glove box?

    You wont see any flaps just the servo motors,you need to look at the yellow lever.
    A4 B6,A4B7Quattro,MK4 Golf,MK5Golf gone and well forgotten,MK6Golf.

    Hi, think i found the yellow lever. I presume this opens the flap?

    I think initially, i'm going to try and grease the flaps. If its the motor that has died, i will take it to them. thanks for your help much appreciated

    It's normally the worm drive inside the motor that jams.
    You can remove the motor and carefully open it up and smear vaseline on the gears...
