    Default DSG Warranty – 05-02-2013,01:18 PM
    Hi All,

    Just wondering if VW cover the dsg box after 3yrs? The reason for my question is due the pebble in a washing machine sound. I have recently had the dsg oil changed at a VW dealer and they said lazy 1st to 2nd syncro and perfectly normal for a dsg. My question is if it is the dmf what is the worst that can happen?. Drives fine very quick and smooth changes. Also due to finances it will be staying a bit longer.

    Mine is a 2005 55 plate and has been very reliable and still is. Just worried that by leaving it it may cause more damage and money

    Yes, lifetime warranty. So long as you are in the US or China. In the UK it's 3 years then hope for goodwill. Ain't life grand.

    Yes, thats what I have been reading. VW said its fine. Maybe trying to avoid having to pay anything out.
