Audi A6 Allroad - C6 Model

Folks,

Could someone confirm if the HID bulbs fitted to my C6 Model A6 Allroad SE are of a D2S or D3S fitting ? Powerbulbs Direct seem to say D2S and my dealer says D3S. I'd like to try out the Osram Silverstar Xenarc which I have heard good reports of.

I'd also like to change the ordinary high-beam bulbs (that are really only used when flashing) and if I remember these are an H1 ??

Would appreciate any guidance.

All sorted now. The lights are a bi-Xenon (which I didn't realise) and are a D3S. The 'flashing' light is simply a 21W similar to a stoplight.

Hi Kevin,

The inner most bulb is the DRL (Daytime Running Light) which can be turned on/off via the MMI. CAR>Exterior Lighting> DRL> On/Off

Both dipped beam and high beam are provided by the Xenons.
