Went out to the car this morning and found that all windows were open by about 2" At the time temperature was below freezing.
Car is a 57 plate 2.0l TDi estate. Have noticed that the windows have been steamed up first thing for some time now.Anyone any ideas?

Windows can be operated by key door open button being held for more than a few seconds, happens to me too leaving keys in pocket. steamed up windows may be due to cabin air filter being clogged up .

Behind passenger drop down box there's a panel. Behind that

This is a quite common problem with the windows dropping halfway. Get the comfort open/close feature of the windows coded out and it will no longer happen. I believe a TPI may exist also with recoding as described being the solution.
