Front brake disc size

Hi I have a 140 bhp 2.0 tdi sline avant does anyone know what size the front discs are and the best type to get I've seen some on flebay £82 groved and dimpled with Mintex pads ant thoughts on those too

Have a look for your model on the MTEC Brakes website - click here. It will show the right set of brakes for your car, along with sizes etc. They supply disc & pad kits, combining its own discs with Mintex pads.

I think grooved is what people have recommended to me in the past (perhaps you?) but I am tempted with dimpled and grooved unless recommended against them.

I have recently had drilled and grooved discs fitted all round - mine is a 3.0TDi. So far, all is good

Did you opt for the black or silver editions? I'm wondering if the heat treating makes a difference or not...

The coatings are cosmetic only; they prevent surface rust forming on the parts of the disc not swept by the pads. They have no bearing on how well the discs actually work.
