Daimler Chrysler are no more, Daimler Benz wriggled out of that a couple of years ago, Chrysler are now in bed with Fiat, hence rebadged Lancias as Chryslers. Also Jeep are owned by Chrysler.

Ferraris are (very) expensive FIATs, as are Maseratis

Volvo are owned by Geely (Chinese)

Hummer (GM) are dead, as are TVR.

Daewoo are part of GM, (but not Lancia) but are sold as Chevrolets.

VW own just under 20% of Suzuki.

Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd has been left off the list, privately owned by a private equity fund, Investindustrial.

Lotus is Proton

Where's all the British ones?

I didn't get into the micro-manufacturers like Caterham, Ascari & Morgan. Good to hear that Aston is once again independently owned, too much to ask that it's once again a British owned brand?
