Hi guys. Just registered with the forum after a number of months reading and soaking up plenty of advice from members re numerous topics. A great source of knowledge.
I've just purchased a pair of retrofit LED rear lights for my 2006 A6 C6 from Audiled.eu. AUDI A6 4F Rear LED Limousine, AUDI LED STORE
These are from the facelift A6 and look pretty cool compared to my own.
As it stands my current lights are "ECE high" with normal bulbs but with LED brake lights and asymetric reverse and fog lights. ie. 1 reverse light (N/S) and 1 fog light (O/S).
Audiled.eu have told me that with the re-programming of the ECU with VCDS these lights will work on my car and give me 2 reverse lights and 2 fogs.
Do any of you guys have any experience of retrofitting these lights and if so, is what I've been told true ?

I'm looking for any members in the Central Scotland area who have VCDS and can re-code my ECU to accept these lights for a reasonable amount of beer money.
All replies will be gratefully appreciated.

Hi I did a similar conversion on mine.I had the same standard lights as you with the LED brake lights and fitted full LED lights. My car was originally set for highline lights and as the new LEDs had resistors in them the brake lights didnt work. I had to get the coding changed to standard lights and they work fine now. When the car was set to highline lights the bulb out warnings came up on the dash and the brake lights would not work. Just try them in your car and if you have the same problems that I had then you just need to get the coding changed. Takes a few minutes. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply denlaa. Much appreciated. Audiled.eu have given me instructions as to how to code for the new leds but if there are problems then I'll know what to do next.
Just wondering, did you only have the 1 fog and reverse light pre upgrade and do you now have both ?

All I need now is someone kinda local with VCDS to help me out with the coding. Thanks again.

My original lights only had one reverse and one fog light but with the new lights I have both. Did you tell the people you got the lights from that you have the led brake lights already?

Hi Chris, I have the Bi-Xenon active cornering fronts. Rears are an insult to the marque hence the upgrade.
