Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone could help me with an idea: I would like to fit soft close option for my A6 2.7 TDI 2011 re OY11BXA.
Is there any possibility of doing this? I would need it for both rear and front passenger doors.
anyone getting in my car always end up in slamming the door and it really "hurts" me. I want to stop this! It has to stop!

The doors are made to be slammed .. That's what's tested before the car is even put into production and they'll be slammed for hours and hours by robots to ensure the highest quality in the finished product (ie the cars we drive).

I'd say it would be more hassle to retrofit than its worth tbh.

as yo can see in this video they test the doors by slamming them hundreds of times to ensure highest quality and durable materials and workmanship to ensure the doors can withstand extreme use. it doesnt only apply to the a8 you know.

Just add some Dynamat or any type of Butyl based soundproofing to your doors. 2-3KG more per door will be sufficient for a soft-close-like experience. I have made mine and they are pretty soft closing now: As soon as I open the door to the end it can hardly hold by itself and start closing, I get off quickly and it closes by itself right after me True Story!
